How the Impossible Promise is Possible

The experience of awakening can be a double-edge sword.  Terms like awakening, enlightenment, connecting with Your higher self or claiming to understand universal truth in any way sounds rather egotistical.  And in fact there is no way to exist within Our reality without ego.  Ego is the product of Our thoughts that make up both the physical reality of Our world and the physical body through which We experience it.  I wouldn’t even write about it if I did not believe that sharing the experience would encourage others to look into themselves for the same wisdom.  That is why it is called ‘Truth’; it is the You that exists beneath all of what You perceive Your ‘self’ to be.  The moment We begin to ask what We are is the moment the universe begins to unfold for Us.

My search was not so much one of spirituality, or at least not intentionally.  I wasn’t trying to become enlightened or awake.  In fact, I think there was a part of Me that felt such an experience was reserved for ‘special’ people and there are still some groups who believe this.  But this is simply not true.  Each of Us will have this experience in Our own time and although this is technically only a theory with as much evidence to debunk as there is to support, the theory is based on wisdom of the experience and all who have had it share similar opinions.  Previous scientific theories and ideas about the world around Us become meaningless as We discover a singular truth.  Belief is replaced with knowledge of a Divine Principle.

However, after the initial experience, Our mind seeks to understand this incredible wisdom as We become co-creators of the new world.  We understand that Our thoughts are responsible for all physical matter and begin to redefine the parameters of Our physical experience.  The possibility of limitless human potential is not really so hard to grasp if We look at Ourselves as a collective being.  There were people once who thought We would never reach the moon, remember.  If We look at science and medicine We already know that no matter what We discover We will not stop until We find a way to perfect human health, cure all disease, and finally, stop aging and dying.

This is why the transformation of the world around Us begins from within and also why it must.  Imagine if everyone were to suddenly discover they could heal themselves and never had to age or die.  On the surface it sounds great but it would most certainly cause problems for Us if the world around Us did not change to accommodate this new adaptation.  We would have to stop procreating almost immediately or find another planet to populate.  This is just one of the many reasons why people say this potential is impossible.  Yet it is a mere shift in perception that allows for the possibility.  We are still looking at the world and universe as something that exists outside Us, around Us.  But they call this the illusion because there is no physical universe, it is only a construction of Your mind.  This has in fact been proven by science for some years now.  Movies like ‘What the Bleep do We Know?’ are great for explaining this theory.

So, if the entire universe really just exists in Your mind, then could You change the universe by changing Your mind?  Yes You can and that is what the scientific community already knows and the ‘Truth’ that humanity will soon be waking up to.  How does it work?

Discovering Your true nature is like finding a pair of wings You didn’t know You had.  It’s a pretty good feeling to know they are there, but You still have to learn how to fly.  In this reality, We have been creating with thought all along.  Nothing humanity has ever created did not first start with a thought about its creation.  The only thing separating humanity from the conceived idea was time and this is still the factor that causes so many problems with modern ‘secrets of success’.  If the dream is planted firmly enough in the mind that the dreamer can shrug off what others might see as misfortune then the dream will begin to redeem itself quite quickly.  If the dreamer is uncertain, then the dream becomes uncertain.  The dream is as real as the world around Us but We allow Ourselves to be confused by the illusion of time.

So the second ‘gift’ of understanding Your true nature is an understanding of the illusion of time.  This understanding changes everything.  You not only know that Your highest thought will be realized, You know it already has been, You are now only waiting to know it.  The world looks and feels as real to Me as it does to anyone else but I am no longer ‘fooled’ by the illusion, I know how it ends – at least for Me.  But how could time be an illusion?  Well, if You consider what it would actually mean to be immortal, then what relevance would time have?  Time is only relative to Us because We are not immortal.  The two go hand in hand.  In the next reality, there will be no time and thoughts will manifest instantly.

Of course, this reality does have time and although I may understand My spirit will live on, it certainly doesn’t make Me immortal.   But time gives Me the opportunity to experience this new gift, to manifest My greatest intention for humanity and to see it unfold before Me.  I have an opportunity to understand My new potential by starting the transformation quite literally from within by changing the perception of My body.  I know the ‘spirit’ body is the only real body so I perceive Myself as already having it.

The biggest conflict with the concept of creating Your reality with thought is the misconception that this could never be true because We would all have different ideas about how the world should be.  But if the outside world doesn’t actually exist and only exists in Our mind, then We can each create Our own vision and there would be no space limitations.  The physical experience and development of mind were necessary to express Our soul’s potential.  How could You create something if You had never seen or experienced anything?  Now You know what You like and what You don’t like and soon You will have the freedom to create a world that reflects Your spirit…  Or, alternately, You can choose to believe You are powerless and insignificant.  If this is what You choose, You will see just how powerful Your thoughts are as the world around You continues to make You feel less powerful and less significant.  Choose spirit, discover Your divinity, and soon You will begin to see just how powerful You really are.
