Philosophical Application: Being the Elephant, Part ‘V’

In My last post I told You that I had already created Peace, it’s done.  And this is how I was meant to teach.  The Universe will conspire to ensure every dream in My mind is met.  I was sent here to teach, a messenger, to show You this is a dream You can know.  It’s now just a matter of whether or not this is a dream You choose to know.

‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho is My favourite book of all time.  It is about a young boy named Santiago who has set out to find a great treasure.  I think it’s the perfect book.  All things in the Universe conspire to help Me achieve My task and so I am going to share about a page of Paulo’s wisdom with You here.  Santiago has just asked a wise old man about destiny:

“It is what You have always wanted to accomplish.  Everyone, when they are young, knows what their destiny is.

At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible.  They are not afraid to dream, and to yearn for all the things they would like to see happen in their lives.  But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their destiny.”

None of what the old man was saying made much sense to the boy.  But he wanted to know what the ‘mysterious force’ was; the merchant’s daughter would be impressed when he told her about that!

“It’s a force that appears to be negative but actually shows You how to realize Your destiny.  It prepares Your spirit and Your will, because there is one great Truth on this planet:  whoever You are or whatever it is that You do, when You really want something it is because that desire exists in the soul of the Universe.  It’s Your mission on Earth.”

“Even when all You want to do is travel, or marry the daughter of a textile merchant?”

“Yes, or even search for treasure.  The Soul of the World is nourished by people’s happiness.  And also by unhappiness, envy and jealousy.  To realize one’s destiny is a person’s only real obligation.  All things are one.”

I remembered My destiny almost three years ago and it was exactly as Paulo describes in the book.  I had never really forgotten My destiny, I had been working My entire life to achieve it.  But My destiny is to teach humanity that anything is possible.  Even as a child I understood very quickly that very few people believed this.  As I grew older I began to understand the weight of this ‘mysterious force’ and the physical world I grew up in was making this Truth impossible to know.  Then I realized that all the things that seemed to be making My dream impossible to know were actually teaching Me what I needed to know to achieve My destiny.  I am here to remove the ‘mysterious force’ that keep People from realizing their dreams.

One of the greatest questions I’m asked is how the Universe can be conspiring to help all of Us achieve Our destiny if We all have different dreams?  Because defeating the ‘mysterious force’ is My destiny and the ‘mysterious force’ is what keeps most of Us from realizing Our dreams, and sometimes even from believing in them in the first place.

I am no longer the boy who sits in the town square asking the old man about destiny and how to identify omens and signs from the Universe.  I am now the old man, sitting in the town square telling You it is never too late to realize Your destiny, handing You Umin and Thummin to help You on Your way.

Next I will talk a little more specifically about the kinds of things I’m doing to remove the ‘mysterious force’ looming over humanity.  I will also talk about Our personal dreams, Our personal destinies and how My ability to transform the Universe does not interfere or undermine Yours.
