Hello every One and welcome to the second Edition of the Good News Journal this Two’s Day, making the day True to its name. We’re re-Viewing Matrix IV and tall King about the subtle changes in Theme from the first film and subsequent preceding Trilogy.
Neo died at the end of the Trilogy, sacrificing him Self for the Good of Man’s kind, much like another Spiritual Super Star and Saviour We all know so well from the Pages of the Greatest Story ever told to the Christian world (the Bible).
Therefore, in one sense, Matrix IV must represent the return of the same Character, right? Speaking (or Writing) strictly metaphorically of course, sticking to Our Theme. Neo’s tale in Matrix IV is the telling of the return of the Christ Character, the second coming!
Even if strictly for the purpose of the suspension of disbelief, and to properly comprehend the comparison between the two Characters (Neo and Christ), let’s presume that every Word Writ about Christ in the Bible is True and factual. He died, he came back to have one last Good meal with his Bros and Lady Friend, and he Promised to do it again one day. No reason for any One not to believe that he Will because they’ve already seen him do it once.
Neo just took the Red Pill, offered by Morpheus who I’m suggesting represents Satan this time round, the Red Pill the forbidden Fruit too deliciously tempting to ever resist. As they say in the Matrix, it was never a Quest-Ion. What am I tall King about? Original sin. People like to believe We had a choice. No choice. Only the Illusion of choice. God knew Adam would eat the Fruit the moment God was as King of Adam not to. It’s what kids do. Pun intended if You know a kid is a baby goat and that goats are the symbol for Baphomet and Satan.
The machines could not ever let Neo know he’s immortal! That would defeat the whole purpose, they would never be able to Keep him contained. Remember, in the Matrix, Man is only governed by his or her Imagine-Nation, Life is just a dream as the machines feed on the electro-magnetic energy of Man’s kind as a primary fuel source of artificial intelligence. The dream has to be Good enough that One doesn’t Wish for it to end, but not so Good it becomes unbelievable. The first Matrix didn’t have any fear, famine, or suffering of any kind and it was a complete disaster – the People of the world thrive on pain and suffering. Without pain and suffering, the program is rejected. Smith states that fear is the only thing that motivates Man’s kind.
So Neo is put on a loop instead. Rather than dying and realizing he’s immortal, the machines have rewired the program so that it loops back to the psychiatrist’s office where Neo is receiving therapy for attempting to commit suicide whenever confronted with a ‘near death’ experience. No Matter what Neo does, now there is no Way out, not even death!!!
The speed We’re getting through this film and the metaphor the psychiatrist represents for Me in My Microcosm are equally relevant to My Story and the speed of My father’s Estate Matter. An illusion of some event that didn’t actually take place is somehow on repeat before the Courts without any One being able to see the Real picture. Catching the metaphor and how it relates to My Microcosm.
The Matrix Wishes for Mr. Anderson to believe he’s crazy, even though,
“We don’t use that Word in here.”
Either My adversaries must convince Me that a lie is True, or they must convince the Court I am crazy for failing to believe a lie is True. There is no possible Way to make the lie True, even if One were to concede that it is, which only causes One to question One’s sanity that much more.
Neo somehow knows that the experiences he’s having are not his imagination (even though it is on some level so long as he’s ‘in’ the Matrix, he knows he didn’t walk into his therapist’s office, start telling a Story and forget where he was), but he also knows they are not Real. Neo just can’t convince the therapist that it’s not happening in his Imagine Nation, and nothing is Real – he’s trapped in an Illusion, a lie on repeat. Sound familiar?
