A Call for Crimson Unity
In the shadow of October’s mourning, where the earth trembles and hearts break,
We cry out, not in anger, but in pain, for the blood of humanity spills, precious and irreplaceable.
Crimson flows not from riches, not from greed or gold—but from life,
From souls who breathe, who love, who dream.
This, our true wealth, is measured in the pulse of each heart,
And no language, no word spoken in any tongue, can contain its worth.
The streets of Gaza, the homes of Israel, the hills of Lebanon—
They are not battlegrounds, they are sacred places where children should laugh,
Where mothers cradle their newborns, where fathers hold their families close.
But today, they are torn apart by bombs and fire,
Ravaged by hatred that leaves nothing but ash in its wake.
More than 41,500 souls—each one a universe of hope and light—
Have been taken from this earth in a storm of violence,
And I cry for them, as I cry for the 1,200 lives taken on the other side.
I cry for the broken hearts, the empty arms, the displaced,
For those who have no home to return to,
Who wander in the wilderness of war, searching for a peace that feels impossibly far.
But this cannot be our destiny.
We were not born to destroy each other.
No doctrine, no flag, no border is worth more than the life it takes.
We do not have to share the same beliefs, but we must share this truth:
That to kill one another is to deny the divine spark within us all.
Heaven was meant to be here, upon this earth, not in the ruin of our homes,
But in the love we show, in the care we offer, in the peace we build.
We stand at the edge of extinction, Not because of forces beyond our control,
But because we have forgotten that we are all human.
We have forgotten that the blood that flows through us is the same—
No matter our skin, our language, our faith.
It is crimson, it is life, and it is more valuable than all the riches of this world.
\Let us unite, not in violence, but in healing.
Let us rise not to conquer, but to comfort.
Let us remember that every child born to this earth deserves to live,
That every mother, father, and friend deserves to love without fear.
Let the weapons fall from our hands,
And may we grasp instead the hands of our neighbors,
No matter where they come from, no matter what they believe.
For we are not enemies. We are brothers and sisters of the same earth,
And if we do not protect each other, if we do not cherish each other,
Then we will lose the most precious gift we’ve ever been given:
The gift of life itself. So I speak now, as one among you,
Not with hate, but with tender loving care,
For that is what we need more than anything else.
To love one another, to tend to each other’s wounds, to care for our common future.
Let the wars cease. Let the healing begin.
Let us remember that to be human is to be sacred.
With so much love and hope for a world reborn in peace,
Let us build that heaven on earth, together.
* In the midst of the sorrow and chaos that war has unleashed across the world, I turn to the truth found in 1 Peter 2:5:
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
We are all living stones, part of a spiritual house that we are building together.
Each of us is meant to play a role in the foundation of peace, love, and compassion.
As the world crumbles under the weight of violence and division,
I remember that we are not powerless.
We are called to offer something greater, not of destruction, but of healing.
Our prayers, our actions, and our love are the spiritual sacrifices that can transform our world, offerings acceptable to God.
In this moment of great suffering, I offer my prayer for divine intervention — for God’s healing power to touch every corner of this earth.
I offer a plea for an end to violence, for the rebuilding of what has been torn apart, and for the softening of hardened hearts. May we be led by His grace to understand that no conflict can ever justify the loss of innocent lives, and that no war is greater than the call to peace. Heavenly Father, with a heart full of tender care, I ask for an outpouring of Your peace across the world today. Let us, as Your living stones, come together to create a house of love and compassion where every soul finds refuge. Let us build a future where no blood is shed in hatred, and where all people, from every nation, can live free from fear. May Your Spirit guide us, so that we may offer the world hope and healing. With every breath, let me be an instrument of Your peace, extending love and care to all, offering this prayer for healing and unity — for the sake of every soul in every nation. Let us become builders of peace together, for this world, today and always.
Amen.
